The defense gave up 28 points in total....


Who knows what they would have been able to do, if the offense managed to have a couple of extended, long drives that ended in TDs, which allowed the defense to rest. Any defense that's on the field that long of a time is going to get tired. This defense needs an offense that can have at least 2 or 3 drives per half, where they have the ball for an extended period of time or get win the time of possession or at least not have the time of possession he so lopsided in favor of the other team.

When is this program going to get past needing the defense to carry this team season in and season out, when the offense plays poorly or fails to do their job?
